Serezade Borja - horn

Originally from Membrilla (Ciudad Real), she has been a professor of horn at the “Andrés de Vandelvira” Higher Conservatory of Music in Jaén since 2021.

He completed his advanced studies in horn at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid with Professor M.A. Colmenero and obtained the title of Senior Professor of Horn at the Conservatory of the Basque Country (Musikene) with professors Rodolfo Epelde and Óscar Sala.

As a solo horn player, he has worked with the Santiago de Chile Philharmonic Orchestra and the Murcia Region Symphony Orchestra. He has also collaborated on numerous occasions with the Granada City Orchestra and the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, as well as with the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra, the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Catalonia, and has participated in various international festivals.

As a teacher, her participation in various youth orchestras, Erasmus projects in both Europe and Latin America, and numerous advanced training courses throughout Spain are noteworthy. She has also taught since 2010 at various conservatories in the Murcia and Alicante regions, including the Cartagena Professional Music Conservatory, the Narciso Yepes Professional Music Conservatory in Lorca, the Almoradí Professional Music Conservatory, and the Murcia Professional Music Conservatory, among others.

She also combines her teaching and performing work with musical research, highlighting her Master's Degree in Musical Performance and Research at the International University of Valencia (VIU) in the 2017/18 academic year and her Master's Degree in Musicology, Music Education, and Music Performance.
