Miguel Navarro - violin

Born in Valencia in 1974, he began his violin studies at the age of 8 with Mr. Antonio Arias, later going on to study with Mr. Victoriano Martín.

In 1991, he entered the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, where he studied under Victor Martin, earning the Advanced Diploma in Violin with the highest marks. He also earned the Advanced Diploma in Chamber Music under Luis Rego.

After completing his studies in Madrid, he entered Indiana University (USA), within the “Visiting Student” program, where he studied violin with D. Mauricio Fuks and violin pedagogy with Mimi Zweig.

He has received scholarships to further his studies abroad from the Ministry of Education, as well as the “High Specialization” scholarship awarded by the Association of Artists and Performers (AIE).

For 10 years he was the concertmaster of the group Cosmos 21, dedicated to the dissemination of Contemporary Music, with which he played in the most important auditoriums in our country.

He also regularly collaborates with various symphonic and chamber groups such as the National Orchestra of Spain, the Camerata del Prado, the Andrés Segovia Chamber Orchestra, etc.

In 1999, she joined the Music and Performing Arts Teaching Corps by competitive examination and has since taught at the Joaquín Turina Conservatory in Madrid and, since 2017, at the Arturo Soria Conservatory, also in Madrid.

Currently, he combines his teaching work with chamber music within the Trio Op 49.
