Jesús Mozo - accordion

He studied with professors Y. Otxotorena, M. Bikondoa, and later with Ángel Luís Castaño and Mika Väyrynen.


As a soloist, he has performed with the Andrés Segovia Chamber Orchestra, the Bética Philharmonic Orchestra of Seville, the International Youth Orchestra, the Camerata, the Heredia Symphony Orchestra (Costa Rica), and the Madrid Symphony Orchestra. He also collaborates regularly with the Spanish National Orchestra, the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra, the Cadaqués Orchestra, the Madrid Symphony Orchestra, the Madrid Symphony Orchestra, and the Plural Ensemble. He has been conducted by conductors such as Josep Pons, Adrian Leaper, Jaime Martín, Beat Furrer, Manuel Coves, Yoav Talmi, Nacho de Paz, Eddie Mora, Fabian Panisello, Sergio Alapont, and Shih-Hung Young.


He develops his artistic activity in seasons of, among others, the Chamber Music Cycle of the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra, the 20th Century Music Cycle at the Juan March Foundation, the Alicante Contemporary Music Festival, Monographic Cycles of the Teatros del Canal, the 41st Cycle of Great Authors and Performers of the Autonomous University of Madrid, the Granada Music and Dance Festival or the Chamber Music Cycle of the Teatro Real.


He has premiered works composed by composers Jesús Rueda, José Zarate, Eneko Vadillo, Stefan Lienenkamper, David Mora, Jorge Taramasco, Eduardo Lorenzo, José Buenagu, Marvín Camacho, Akemi Naito, among others.


He has recorded for Radio Clásica of Radio Nacional de España, Canal Sur Televisión, and Telecinco. He has also recorded several for the "Tañidos" label, in addition to having recorded the album SOLOSH with the Heredia Symphony Orchestra (Costa Rica).


He has taught at the Conservatorio Superior de Murcia y Aragón. He currently teaches accordion at the Teresa Berganza Professional Music Conservatory in Madrid.
