Eva Sánchez - violin
Eva Sánchez was born in Madrid. She studied music at the Conservatorio Superior de Atocha in Madrid, where she earned a basic degree in guitar and a higher degree in violin with top marks.
In 1994 she received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture through a competition and audition and moved to the University of Madison (WI) USA, where she obtained the “Certificate” in advanced violin, chamber music and orchestra with the teachers Vartan Manoogian, Parry Karp, David Becker and David Crook.
In 1995, she was awarded the prestigious Fulbright scholarship, jointly awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science and the American Commission on Education. In June 1996, she graduated with honors as a Master of Violin Performance from the University of Wisconsin. In 1997, she continued her studies at the University of Toronto (Canada) with maestro David Zafer.
He has received master classes and attended national and international courses, with teachers such as Manuel Guillén, Vartan Manoogian, Gonçal Comellas, José Luis García Asensio, Andy Daws, Pierre Pascuale, Leonidas Kavakos and David Zafer among others.
Since 1996 he has taught violin and chamber music at the school.

He collaborates regularly with the RTVE Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Community of Madrid, the Galician Philharmonic, the National Orchestra of Spain, the Andrés Segovia Orchestra, the Camerata del Prado, etc.
He has given numerous concerts as a soloist with the Orquesta del Ampurdán and the Orquesta Martín Codax, among others. Regarding his chamber music activity, he has performed numerous recitals in the duo (violin and piano), and Duo of two violins with Emilio Sánchez, String Quartet, Quintet with piano and piano trio throughout Spain, the USA, Morocco, Italy and Canada.
He is currently a member, since its formation in 2001, of the Orfeo Trio with Jesús Pinillos, piano, and Raúl Pinillos, cello.
With this group, in 2005, he recorded an album for the EMY label featuring contemporary music by composer and pianist Gustavo Díaz Jerez. They won second prize in the Cajacanarias music competition in 2004.
Since 2002, she has been a professor by competitive examination at the Teresa Berganza Professional Music Conservatory in Madrid.
